New Honda Civic GX Natural Gas that uses Vehicle (NGV) decal lends visibility to your smarter choice of ride. Civic GX is the car with the latest design and luxury. AT-PZEV (Advanced Technology Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle) models as certified by the California Air Resources Board (Carb) and That states have adopted California’s Zero-Emission Vehicle Regulations.

The interior of the Civic GX can only be described as intuitive. Controls are well-placed, and a flat rear floor provides ample room. The futuristic cockpit design is all about quality, and features a two-tier instrument panel that provides a unique view of all instrumentation.

Powerful Alternative
A Drive-by-Wire™ throttle system and 113-hp, 16-valve i-VTEC® engine give the 2011 Civic GX its get-up-and-go. This clean natural-gas-fueled vehicle also features the latest, next-generation i-VTEC® technology, offering up more power than you’d expect from a smaller engine.

Technologically Advanced
California Air Resources Board certified the GX as an Advanced Technology Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle (AT-PZEV). Honda’s Civic GX is the world’s cleanest internal-combustion vehicle[3]. The 5-speed automatic transmission also enhances fuel economy.

- 24 city/36 hwy/28 combined gasoline equivalent mpg. Based on 2011 EPA mileage estimates. Use for comparison purposes only. Do not compare to models before 2008. Your actual mileage will vary depending on how you drive and maintain your vehicle.

- AT-PZEV (Advanced Technology Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle) models as certified by California Air Resources Board (CARB) and states that have adopted California Zero-Emission Vehicle regulations.

The GX engine achieves 24 city/36 highway/28 combined mpg[1]. A host of sophisticated technologies include special engine mounts, crankshaft, engine block, pistons and connecting rods to help achieve remarkable smoothness.

To achieve Advanced Technology Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle (AT-PZEV)[1] status, a vehicle must meet Super-Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicle (SULEV)[2] tailpipe emission standards, carry a 15-year/150,000-mile warranty on emissions equipment, have zero evaporative emissions and include advanced technology components.

This electronically controlled 5-speed automatic transmission offers quick acceleration and enhanced fuel economy[1]. You get more power, smoother upshifts and downshifts and quieter operation.

The compressed natural-gas (CNG) fuel tank is almost as impressive as the engine. The tank is lightweight, strong and built for safety. And for extra peace of mind, we’ve equipped the tank with an in-tank solenoid valve that will cut off the flow of gas if the system is compromised, or when the engine is turned off.
