CT Lexus 200h has the Atkinson-cycle engine design that is used for a better level of efficiency and compatibility with the CT 200h hybrid operation. Twin-cam engine uses four valves per cylinder and variable Valve Timing with Intelligence (VVT-i) on the intake side. Undersquare engine, with a 3:17-inch diameter holes and 3.48 inches stroke, and has a relatively high compression ratio of 13.0:1. Peak output is equal to 98 horsepower and in combination with a hybrid motor drives, CT 200h produces 134 horsepower, the total system. The CT 200h will accelerate smoothly from 0-60 mph in 9.8 seconds.
